Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven’t been around much the past few days – we’ve been hit by bug after bug. Everyone ended up coming down with the flu – including Adrien (though his was pretty tame). Elliot got hit the hardest and we actually ended up going to the doctor’s this weekend because he was just coughing so much. The doctor at the walk-in clinic ended up ordering a chest x-ray so we’re waiting on the results. And then, after a week of the flu, we got hit with the stomach flu which is what we’re still dealing with right now.
So yeah…what I’m most looking forward to right now is for everyone to be healthy again.
Other things that I’m looking forward to:
- Putting away all of the Winter gear until next season of cold
- Attending my sister’s wedding
- Visiting my daughter’s school with her (’cause she’s starting kindergarten next year!!!)
- Going to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix concert with my husband
What are you most looking forward to?

I’m so sorry you guys have been sick. I hope every is feeling well soon! Congratulations to your sister, from one bride to be to another 🙂 What I’m actually looking forward to is our wedding in October. I had no idea how exciting the countdown and anticipation is. Everyone is always talking about it and our family and friends seem to be genuinely looking forward to it too 🙂

Gosh, Sophie, I’m sure sorry you guys have been hit so hard by illness! 😥 Hopefully you’re at the tail end of it.
I’m looking forward to eating peaches this summer! And playing in the water with the kids. 🙂

Yeah it’s been pretty horrible. On the bright side, we didn’t really get sick over the Winter though. When does peach season start in Georgia?

That’s good. We had three or four separate illnesses strike this fall/winter.
I’m not sure, late June or maybe early July?

I pray you and your family start feeling better 🙂 I am most looking to strawberries. They are in season.

Thank you for your prayers, Margaret, they are very appreciated 💕. Enjoy those strawberries! We’ve still got a couple of months before they are ready around here.

I really need to find out when harvest time is for strawberries from everywhere. Then the next time hubby asks where I’d like to go hehehe spring the list on him. I wish they grew for a longer period. But I am thankful for the month or so that we get them here 🙂 I eat way too many of them.

But they’re so delicious, right! We’ve got raspberries in our backyard and have started some strawberry bushes too – should have plenty in a couple of years!

That is a blessing. Our farm was flanked with blackberries. Oh my what a delicious treat all the way up and down each side of the property was eating those delicious berries. I pray you have more than you can eat and be able to feed more than you imagined 🙂
